A dryer can fit inside the opening and still fail at installation. Check whether the unit requires a dedicated drain, water supply, or special electrical arrangement. Door and drawer clearance: Open the dryer door in the direction you expect to use it. A reversible door can help, but only if the model supports the desired configuration. Common mistakes
- Measuring the old dryer instead of the opening: The replacement may have a different cabinet depth, door design, vent position, or control layout.
